Hair soap is real soap made by a saponification reaction of fats with a lye. High-quality vegetable oils and fats, such as olive oil, avocado oil and shea butter are being used. They are precious because of their high content of unsaponifiable substances which give the hair volume and keep the scalp healthy and vital. Coconut oil and Castor oil provide a lush, yet fine creamy lather, which guarantees a thorough and mild cleansing.

Shampoo bars

For those who can not cope with hair soap, there are solid shampoos for sustainable and plastic-free shampooing. In shampoos surfactants are used, which are not obtained by the saponification reaction. In the case of solid shampoos, the surfactants are processed in their solid, powdery form in the product and not dissolved in water as with liquid shampoos. The hair doesn't have to get accustomed to shampoo bars and you still saved on plastic bottles.
