Rose Geranium with the botanical name Pelargonium Graveolens, was introduced to Europe in the 17th century. Initially, Rose Geranium was used for medicinal purposes, but soon its aromatic fragrant petals, leaves and stems found a place in perfumery. The fragrance of the Rose Geranium is both sweet and powerful and comes very close to the scent of a rose, but is characterized by additional green citrus notes.
